WHAT AN “INCENTIVE TO FILL IN” THE QUESTIONNAIRE IS

A benefit that your customer will receive by filling your questionnaire in.


It could be:

  • A discount that they could enjoy on a future visit by booking directly on your facility/business website and within a certain timeframe
  • An up-grade, depending on availability, for a certain service or a type of room during a future visit
  • A gift of an ancillary service, such as a free access to the spa, or a free drink at the bar
  • Unleash your imagination, provided that you make your customers feel the exclusivity of what you are offering to them


In case you decide to offer, in any form whatsoever, an incentive to fill the questionnaires in, in the related invitation e-mail to send to your customers, there will be the following sentence: "After having filled our questionnaire in, to thank you for your time you will receive a special voucher to redeem on your next visit".



Please Note: the incentive to fill the questionnaire in does work! From the analysis of over 1 million sent questionnaires, we found that those including the incentive have been filled in 30% more than those without it!



HOW TO OFFER AN INCENTIVE TO FILL THE QUESTIONNAIRE IN?

  • Q-Box Home page
  • ‘Questionnaires’ button (in green on the horizontal menu)
  • Click on the name of which questionnaire you want to combine with the incentive to fill it in




You will be in the Home of the selected questionnaire. Work now on the menu on the left:

  • Section “configure”, under the entry “Settings”
  • Scroll down the page to the end where you find the section “Incentive to fill in (the Questionnaire)”:



OFFER AN INCENTIVE

It allows you to select whether (and to whom) offering the incentive:

  • To everybody: the incentive will be offered to all whom will fill the questionnaire in, regardless of which channel they got to know about it (direct link, QR code, etc.)
  • Just to whom received the invitation e-mail: the incentive will be offered just to customers to whom the invitation will be automatically sent through Qualitando/Your Management System, or through manual data uploads on Qualitando for sending questionnaires.
  • NO: it does not send any incentives for filling the questionnaire in




GENERATION OF THE SPECIAL DISCOUNT VOUCHER

In case you chose to offer the incentive, you can select what type of code will be sent to your customers after they will have filled the questionnaire in


  • Automatic generation (always different): after having filled the Questionnaire in, the customer will receive an e-mail with a code automatically generated by Qualitando. The code will be alphanumeric and different for each customer. In the body of the e-mail it will be specified that the code entitles to a certain benefit or discount, and that it can be requested at the time of booking, by contacting the booking office of the facility/business;
  • Manual input (fixed): you can select the option “Fixed Manual Input” by selecting the second entry in the “Automatic generation” in the drop-down menu. Next, after selecting this option you will need to choose a fixed code (ie: Happy2017) and place it in the appropriate field and then click the “save” button at the bottom of the page. In this case, after filling the questionnaire in, the customer will receive an e-mail with the fixed code. In the body of the e-mail it will be specified that the code entitles to a certain benefit or discount and that can be requested at the time of booking, either by contacting the booking office of the facility/business, or by filling in the code on the online booking system/booking engine of the hotel/facility/business (in such case, it goes without saying, you will have to make sure that the code in the booking engine, is combined to the discount/benefit promised through the steps as described above. Do not forget to perform this last operation!).


HOW TO CHECK AND/OR MODIFY THE E-MAIL TEXT WITH ATTACHED THE SPECIAL VOUCHER

Keep staying in the Questionnaire, menu on the left

  • Click on “Texts” and select the one called “Post-compilation e-mail including the incentive voucher”!
  • A basic text will be suggested. You can customize it as you like, making sure that the conditions for the customer to redeem the special discount/voucher are understandable and clear. In the same way, also the request channels should be clear (write an e-mail to…, or enter the code that you found on the online booking system in the xy…link). In the e-mail you will find the Html codes, recognizable as they are listed within brackets {{ }}. These are the only fields NOT to delete or edit: as they will allow you to enter the discount code in your e-mail: had you selected the option "Automatic generation (always different)" or the "Manual input (fixed)".



Remember: after any changes you might have done to the text, you will need to go to the entry ‘Translations’
